If you would like to dive TODAY.... |
|
To those interested in diving but not sure
they would like to certify, or to those who would like to dive but don't have the time to certify, we offer introductory dives. On
an intro dive we will have a short course on dive basics (How to dive,
equipment, safety concerns, etc.) and proceed to the water where we will
practice a few necessary skills, first on the surface and then just under the
surface. Once these skills have been mastered we will drop down below the
water, pause for a moment to make sure you are comfortable and then......

| Intro dives are a great way to "get your
feet wet" in diving. You will be with an instructor diving
approximately a 20 to 40 foot depth. This is the depth where most of our
reef life is found and you will have the opportunity to see all kinds of neat
creatures. Your 1st dive will probably last roughly 25 to 40 minutes (it's
an exciting time, and most people breath a little heavy the first few minutes of
the dive). When you dive a second tank, you will usually be
relaxed by the end of the first dive and the 2nd tank will likely last 5 to 10
minutes longer, the diving will feel more natural and you'll have more time
to look around. |
| If you would like to try diving, please contact us and we
will be happy to introduce you to the amazing world beneath the waves.
When you set up the intro dive, I would highly recommend that you plan for
a day of snorkeling prior to the dive... Getting comfortable in the water
by snorkeling will go a long way towards making your intro dive a
fantastic experience. This dive can be applied towards certification if you decide to continue and
become certified, just let us know. I've been running this dive off the
boat so you'll be going to the same dive sites our certified divers go,
with a 40' max depth restriction. Price for a 2 tank outing runs
$199
+ tax individually, or $159 each + tax if there are two or more of you, and includes gear, beverages and a light lunch.
