Hawaii can be a great place to learn how to dive.  I highly recommend if you are interesting in learning to dive, consider going the referral route.... Do your academic and pool work at home and then do your two days of open water diving out here... it's by far the best  of both worlds.  I'm happy to do PADI and SDI referral students.

I'd been teaching a fair number of 3 day full certification courses, but many people do not realize ahead of time just how involved the first day or two of the course can be, it turns into a rescheduling situation quite often.  I'm getting busy enough where rescheduling is very tough to do if anyone gets behind (this can be inconvenient for everyone involved), so I'm pretty much getting away from offering the 3 and 4 day courses 'til my business is such that I can hire another instructor and keep them busy at it full time.  You can always check with me to see if I can squeeze in a class, but there are no guarantees for now.
